BBC Radio Nottingham presents a Market Square extravaganza!!!
Easy mah ducks,
We're delighted to announce that we will be opening the all-day open air Old Market Square fun-fest in Nottingham on the 24th of May, an event run by those lovely people from The Beat - a kick-ass show that airs on Radio Nottingham / Derby / Lincoln (and places even further afield!) on Saturdays 6pm - 10pm. Gotta give Dean and his team a big plug 'cause they keep playing our songs!
Our stage time is 12.30 midday, so make sure you take it easy the night before so you can catch the early bus! Other bands on the bill include Athlete, The Displacements, Elliot Minor (who I understand Matt is desperate to see) and Envy and Other Sins.

RE: GIGS CANCELLED BLOG
On Saturday Matt got taken into hospital meaning that we couldn't play our Club S.O.S night, the night still went on and me and the other Chris got pissed up and had a great night as did all the bands and the people who came.
I am delighted to say Matt came out of hosiptal yesterday, but has been told to take it easy for the next couple of weeks whilst he gets back to full fitness and health. This does mean however that three gigs have been cancelled. These are:
Sat 3rd May - Joplins, Chesterfield - This date is being re-arranged as we speak for June so keep checking back
Sat 10th May - The Red Lion Hotel, Wirksworth - This date is also being re-arranged as we speak for June.
Monday 19th May - Dublin Castle, Camden - This date is going to be re-arranged for after our single release date in June aswel
I had a few phone calls on Saturday night saying that 'Play The Game' had been on the radio! Lets hope for loads more plays over the summer!!!

Good Morning!
I'm Hungover. Matts in Hospital.
Both are not the greatest things in life. One not quite so great as the other.
Seriously though thanks as always to those who came dwon to Club SOS last night. It was different us not playing and Matt not being around for the fun and frolics on the night. It was also meant to be being filmed for our single video but in the circumstances nothing could be done about it. We will be back for the May SOS with all guns blazing!!! It will be a top night.
Also we will be re-arranging our filming around Nottingham which was meant to be taking place today in the square.
Special thanks have to go to the bands and DJ's who played last night.

'PLAY THE GAME' VIDEO FILMING!!
We'll be filming the video for 'Play The Game' this month.
We'll be filming the Club SOS gig on the 26th.
And then an acoustic set on the Square and a few other spots busking in Nottingham on the following Sunday (27th).
Tell everyone you know and hopefully see you there. Get your mug in the vid!!!

'In The Presence Of The Lord' has been produced by Tristan Ivemy (Babyshambles/The Holloways/Towers of
London) and was done at Miloco, Metropolis and Battery studios in January of this year.

Cheers to everyone who's been to a gig so far this month, we've had some wonderful times where we've played so far in March, and an extra special thanks to those who have wooped and cheered at me playing my acoustic sets in various places, especially anyone who has wooped and cheered at hearing me on the radio over the last few weeks. We've been doing live sessions, interviews and the acoustic version of 'Your Eyes Are MAde Of Gold', which has been leaked to the BBC, has been getting played on all the local Beeb stations around the country, it seems it's quite popular, well done whoever ripped that one off the myspace or wherever you got it!!! And they say the internet is killing music, prffffffffft! (Don't forget to buy the single though yeah!! wink wink nudge nudge!!)

Bringing February to a close . . .
Thank you to everyone who's turned out for a show this month. We've had some great nights at some lovely venues and played for some wonderful people, if all the things you say are true and all your predictions are indeed correct we'll be rate and the future's looking very bright indeed.
Just one more show to close the month, I'll be playing an acoustic gig at De Monfort University, Leicester on Wednesday afternoon. (We'll be playin Leicester again on the 9th March at the Charlotte, that'll be a good one!)
I'll give you an update on everything at the start of next month, there's alot going off behind the scenes over this next week. Stay in touch won't you . . . .
The March Club S.O.S details are being uploaded as we speak, cheers to everyone who came down Saturday just gone, we love your continued support and it's great seeing new and fresher faces every month!!!
