Fancy Dress is optional. As long as you come dressed you have succeeded, whether it be a white t-shirt and jeans or a mankini.

CENSORED Your Club SOS hosts censored. have provided the summer soundtrack ‘Play The Game’ and now invite some of their favourite bands to perform on two floors for your pleasure @ Junktion 7 . . .

MONROES Monroes are three boys who play reggae influnced indie that sounds like it has come straight out of the 80's. After a succession of great gigs with bands such as The View, Towers of London and The law as well as coverage in magazines such as The Fly and NME, monroes are a force to be rekoned with. . .

YOU-V-ME Containing catchy hooks and intertwining guitar lines you can't shift from your brain, an energetic frontman with passion and power and a complex rhythm section that bring groove, power and the all important "dance" to the songs. . .

REPUBLIC This is a band with great great songs! Four lads from Nottingham sounding a cross between Arctic Monkeys and The Verve. They have got the hooks, the grooves, the tunes and the melodies!. . .


DOWNSTAIRS

ALEX (THE JET BOYS) Club SOS will form the'BAD' EP release party. Make sure you get your copy!
Raw, Romantic, Rock 'n' Roll - The Jet Boys' raw rock n roll energy never leaves a crowd without a feeling of heart-in-mouth urgency, be it good, acoustic, bad or ugly. . .

THE LIMITS Energetic yet melodic, almost anthemic in places. Drawing on influences ranging from the 60's to the present day, The Limits have crafted their own sound from an ever-expanding personal songbook. As quoted on BBC Radio, "This band are going to be huge!" . . .

Good weather, an outdoor Rodeo Bull and BBQ ensured the penultimate Club SOS were a successful evening.

The only spoiler was that Matt was in a full plaster of Paris cast due to a broken foot incured when playing football in the week previous.

International movie star Paddy Considine put in a fine turn with his band Riding The Low and censored. filmed the video for the song.

You may notice a few anomolies in the poster for this months show. The reason is due to Matt being rushed to hospital the day of the gig. Alex Strongman of The Jet Boys was brought in last minute to play an acoustic set and The Response headlined the night. Needless to say Censored did not perform.

This evening's S.O.S also coincided with 'Play The Game''s first national radio ariplay.

More Censored's Club S.O.S Information . . . .

What's it all about? Do you really want to know?

Unquestionabley a new benchmark for the Nottingham live music scene for club nights, atmosphere and quality bands. Club S.O.S is a club night ran by current Nottingham buzz band Censored, who will be throwing parties with plenty of room for ravers the last Saturday of every month.

Hundreds of you lovely people so far have been entertained each and every night by Censored and their favourite bands and acoustic acts from around the country, so now it looks like it's gonna be a really big time for this little corner of Nottinghamshire we like to call CensoredVille. Keep on keeping on!

2007 saw The Underground Heroes, Twisted Wheel, Mint Ive and THe Petebox wow the Club S.O.S audences!

Thanks to everyone who came to the last club night showing and everyone who has been so far to our glorious residence. We love each and everyone of you!!

The nights are open Over 14s. To purchase alcoholic drinks you must carry ID to prove you are over the age of 18 years old.

If you do not have a ticket be sure to arrive early to avoid disapointment.

Now 2008 in CensoredVille and the nights have been building and building for sure, word is beginning to spread that three skinny Ilson lads, have been throwing a party up at Canning Circus (Nottingham's equivalent of Picadilly Circus) and everyone wants a piece of the action, all showings overselling two fold, well, they always say that the best shows are the ones where there's more people outside than in!! Big love to all the other local boys in all the other local bands, no doubt you'll be seeing more of them over the next year.
